It can be fired from 10 metres away using the optional ST-E2 Speedlite Transmitter, or the integrated Transmitter built into some EOS cameras. Can also be remotely controlled with optical triggering, so it will fit in immediately with your existing flash set up. Using radio frequency triggering, 430EX III-RT units can be controlled from up to 30 metres away and do not require direct line of sight with the camera. The large LCD screen shows settings and shooting informations at a glance, and is illuminated for low light conditions. Simple controls which echo those of many EOS cameras with an intuitive interface. Guide number of 43 (m at ISO 100) so there is enough power for most occasions. The Canon Speedlite 430EX III-RT is a portable but powerful flashgun that is easy to use both on and off the camera.
